More Lily

It is amazing to me how many pictures I can accumulate on my camera in a month...My photo budget is a little bit out of control...

A few fun facts about Lily

* She will be moving out of her infant carrier soon and into her big girl car seat!

* She has 3 teeth!  OUCH!

* We had to move the mattress down in her crib because she likes to pull on her mobile...oh yes, she is tricky!

* She likes to babble and "talk"

READING!!!

Everyone tells me, be sure to read to your baby....Of course I know that...I was a first grade teacher for a long time.  I understand how important it is....

Yeah, right.  You try to read to a squirmy 8 month old.  We have a book case of beautiful books for Lily in her room, just waiting for Lily to love books the way that Mommy and Daddy do.

Sassy girl

Lily is doing so well...We went to our visit at St. Elizabeth's last month and they were thrilled with her progress.  She is eating lots of different foods, including some table foods.  She is getting around...not quite crawling, but she is definately mobile.

Back to school!

Hi everyone!

It has been a long time since our last update. Things have been great!  Mommy went back to school and I started day care.  It has been a crazy few weeks...but I am adjusting well.  I get to spend Tuesdays with my Grammy-girl....we have so much fun.  She is the best.  On Wednesdays and Thursdays, I go to daycare.  Thaya is my day care provider and she is lots of fun.  I am having fun watching the kids....but have developed a bit of a stuffy nose.  Hopefully that will go away soon too.

The pictures are from this summer, but they are from Tia and Amy...mom takes so many pictures, but then uses the pictures from everyone else. (thanks Tia and Amy).

Hopefully Mommy will get better at updating this thing....I know she has about 1,000 pictures of you-know-who on her computer....

The happiest place on earth!

We had a fantastic vacation with Grammy and Nonno.  We spent a lot of time with them, Janet and Paul, Uncle David, Auntie Shelley and Paige (and her friend), Uncle Brian, Auntie Loren and Brian, Paula, Donna, Jenny, John and Joscelyn.  We also got to meet mom's friend, Louise and her husband Ken and two sons, Kaleb and Balthazar.  I was SURROUNDED by people!  I was SHOWERED with attention!  What a life I lead!

We stayed at a GREAT resort with terrific pools.  I spent most of my time at the pool.  I just love water.  Mom and Dad took me to the Magic Kingdom one day.  It was fun.  I enjoyed some of the rides and wasn't scared one little bit.

Thanks for such a great vacation Grammy and Nonno...where are we going next year?  (teehee)

Lily's busy summer

The summer is just flying by!  We have had so much fun together. We've gone to the pool and played in the little pool in backyard.  This girl loves to swim!  We've visited with family and friends... We have been so busy!  Lily went to her first baseball game, and some birthday parties...  She got her first teeth, starting sitting up with help, and is eating 2 meals a day.  Check out our pictures.  I know I am biased, but our girl is getting cuter every day.

The many faces of Lily

We're so lucky to have a photographer in the family.  Uncle Mike does such a great job capturing Lily at her best.  The smiling ones are cute, but I really love the ones with the silly, grouchy faces.  And the one drooling and blowing bubbles.  Who knew she would break through not one but TWO teeth a week later???  Thanks Uncle Mike, you can take pictures of us ANYTIME!!!!
