Happy Birthday to ME!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone!

It was such a great birthday weekend.  I had a BIG family party on Saturday and just kicked back and relaxed on Sunday.  Can you believe I am 2????

I got so many great presents for my birthday and I LOVED seeing everyone.  How great that all of those people love me and came to my house to listen to me sing, "Happy Birthday".

I went to the dr. last week and I weigh 25 pounds (25-50%) and am 31 1/4 (60%)inches tall.  The dr. was impressed with everything about me...but she was most impressed when I got my shot and my blood work done that I didn't even cry!  I am amazing!  I am a picky eater and don't really like when Mommy cooks dinner.  Why can't I just have cheese sticks and melon for dinner?

I am giving my parents a run for their money though...I am boycotting sleeping through the night again.  What do you expect???? I am 2 now!

I'll be in touch!!!

December 2007

Whew!  It was a busy December.  I started my new day care with Miss Arlene and Mr. Jim right after Thanksgiving.  They are amazing.  I talk about "Arlene, Jim and the kids" all the time, and I am settling right into their routine.

Christmas was  fantastic.  Ho-ho" brought me such great gifts.  I am one lucky girl.  I am also loved by so many friends and family.  I am in a new outfit every day, and playing with new toys and books.  We were very busy over Christmas, but we had a very calm and relaxing week off.  I got pretty sick right before vacation got over, and missed the entire next week of school (day care).  I got better again, but now am a little sniffly again!  Enough is enough!

Hugs and germ-free kisses,

Lily-girl

November 2007

Hi Everyone,

It has been a busy November...Mom just wanted to send a few pictures as the upcoming month is going to be VERY BUSY!  Not to mention, she might take a few pictures between now and Christmas.

Thanksgiving was terrific, but silly Mommy forgot her camera.  Hopefully Grammy will pull through for us with a few shots of me and my sassy outfit.

I am talking up a storm.  I say what I mean, and I mean what I say.  I love playing with my little people and the farm and the "neigh".  I love music, but am a bit of a music snob...I'll let you know if it isn't what I want.  I love books, with Goodnight Boston and Chicka Chicka ABC being my 2 favorites.

I go to music class every Friday and LOVE it.  I have play dates with friends every week as well.  But my very best friend in the whole world is my buddy (and cousin) Lucas.  I am so lucky to have him!  He loves me!!!!! (I love him too!)

I am so thankful for my family and friends, my toys and my music.....Hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Love, Lily-girl

PS...I start my new day care on Wednesday.  Wish me luck!!!!

September/October 2007

Hi all!

We have had such a busy fall...I can't believe it is almost November.  We have done a lot of fun things outside, apple and pumpkin picking, a few trips to the zoo, lots of playing at the park, just taking advantange of this crazy New England weather!

I am such a little talker these days!  Mommy thinks that my vocabulary doubles daily!  And I am a climber.  I've recently climbed out of my crib.  Heeheehee!!!  I am keeping Mommy and Daddy on their toes!!!  They have also found me on top of the side tables in the living room, or standing on the ottoman trying to get something off of the shelf.  I am stealth-like!

I've had my share of illness as well....I frustrated my mom to no end with a rash...and some kind of allergic reaction to something (still not 100% sure what)...so for a few weeks we were visiting the doctor practically daily!!!!  I am better now.  Just a little sniffle cold now, and mommy blames that on the change of the weather.

My favorite things to do are: watch TV (mommy doesn't like this so much), read books, listen to music, color and draw, and my newest things that I love to do are play with play-dough and Mollie's old Mr. Potato Head.

I have lots of energy!  Mommy says she is exhausted!

I'll check in soon!

Love you!

The rest of August 2007-VACATION!

Well, Mommy keeps whining that the summer is over...I don't understand why she is so sad!

Here are some pictures of me from the past few weeks.  We went to Sesame Place, Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey and we spent some time in Fairhaven, MA.  I stayed with Tia and Lucas for a week in Fairhaven after that.  It was a really fun vacation.

Labor Day weekend, we went to the zoo and to the beach.  I also visited Mommy's cousin Alissa and Mark and their two new children, Morgan and Dylan.  Morgan is a couple of months older than me, but I think we are going to be good friends.  We had a fun time playing and sharing her toys.

Hope you made the best of the last few days of summer.  It is time for Mommy to go back to work, and I will get to go to Grammy's and Thaya's.  I can't wait!

Lots of hugs and kisses!

August 2007

Hi-eeeeeee

Lily-girl here!  And I can't believe that the summer is almost over.  Where did it go?

Mommy and I have had such an amazing summer.  Busy, fun stuff. But, my reality changes back to normal next week.  Mommy says that she has loved being with me this summer, but it will be good to get us back onto a schedule.  I have NO idea what she is talking about!  Mommy goes back to work right after Labor Day and I start back with Grammy on Tuesdays and Thaya on Wednesdays and Thursdays.  Everything is right in the world with them!

I have been having weekly playdates with my friends, going to fun concerts, swimming in the ocean and in the pool, playing outside a lot.  Although Mommy loves to slather me in sunscreen, I have a kicking tan!

My two favorite things in life right now:  Blue's Clues and popsicles.  What more could a girl want?

I am a climber...and am scaring my mother to DEATH!  Good thing I am not afraid of much these days, except for the blender and the vacumn.

I am talking up a storm...my favorite things to say:  "I don't wannto"......"Hi-eeeeeee"......."By-eeeeeeee"........"Blue's Clues"........."Where did he go?  There he is!"...... "MommaMommaMommaMommaMommaMomma"

Seriously, I am a non-stop speaker....I just have so much to say!

I hope you are all well!

Love, Lily-girl
