The happiest place on earth!

We had a fantastic vacation with Grammy and Nonno.  We spent a lot of time with them, Janet and Paul, Uncle David, Auntie Shelley and Paige (and her friend), Uncle Brian, Auntie Loren and Brian, Paula, Donna, Jenny, John and Joscelyn.  We also got to meet mom's friend, Louise and her husband Ken and two sons, Kaleb and Balthazar.  I was SURROUNDED by people!  I was SHOWERED with attention!  What a life I lead!

We stayed at a GREAT resort with terrific pools.  I spent most of my time at the pool.  I just love water.  Mom and Dad took me to the Magic Kingdom one day.  It was fun.  I enjoyed some of the rides and wasn't scared one little bit.

Thanks for such a great vacation Grammy and Nonno...where are we going next year?  (teehee)

Love, Lily

Lily's busy summer

The summer is just flying by!  We have had so much fun together. We've gone to the pool and played in the little pool in backyard.  This girl loves to swim!  We've visited with family and friends... We have been so busy!  Lily went to her first baseball game, and some birthday parties...  She got her first teeth, starting sitting up with help, and is eating 2 meals a day.  Check out our pictures.  I know I am biased, but our girl is getting cuter every day.

The many faces of Lily

We're so lucky to have a photographer in the family.  Uncle Mike does such a great job capturing Lily at her best.  The smiling ones are cute, but I really love the ones with the silly, grouchy faces.  And the one drooling and blowing bubbles.  Who knew she would break through not one but TWO teeth a week later???  Thanks Uncle Mike, you can take pictures of us ANYTIME!!!!

Our dr. appt

We went to visit Dr. B on Monday.  Lily is always so excited to see her....Little does she know that the dr. will always save the shots for the end of the appt.  Poor thing.  3 shots...and she sobbed.  But she recovered in about 2 minutes...that's my girl!

SO here are her stats...

15.4 pounds (35%)

43 cm-head circumference (75%-my girl's housing a big brain!)

24 3/4 inches long (25%)

The dr. is thrilled with Lily's progress and actually is quite amazed by our little girl.  She is keeping her on the high calorie formula, but we are doing away with the calorie supplement.  The dr. wants us to increase her meals to twice a day.  That is our update for now!  We don't go back until OCTOBER!  We will be back in school by then!  Yikers!

Hope everyone is enjoying the summer!

A day at the cottage

We went to the cottage this past Sunday for the day.  Lily really enjoyed the ride (she slept the whole way and the whole way home :)).  She loved being outside and visiting with her cousins, aunts and uncles and her Voo.  (Thanks for the pictures Tina!)

A girl and her bear

I have taken Lily's pic with this bear almost weekly!

Look at how she has changed!

I cry when I think of how little and scrawny she was, and now she is so healthy!  She even has rolls!

Lily eating solids...

Lily has started eating solid foods.  I won't say she loves it but she is getting better at it!  She has had rice cereal (hates it) and barley (verdict's still out on that one).  She has tried bananas and apples (yummers!), pears, sweet potatoes, and carrots.
